Oakland Peace in the Streets Neighborhood Beautification Project
A banner featuring my artwork displayed on International Blvd at 79th Ave, is part of Oakland’s “Peace In the Streets Neighborhood Beautification Project."
In June 2021, over one hundred Banners for Peace were installed along International Boulevard in East Oakland. These five-foot street pole banners feature Vision Quilt art created by youth, artists, gun violence survivors, and other community members. https://www.visionquilt.org
